InstallingShiftKnob01RemovingBezel.jpg
532 viewsSince I have a shift boot installed, I needed to remove my bezel. I pried it up from the top using a flathead screwdriver.

264 viewsNext, I sanded down some rough spots where the plastic was molding using 200 grit automotive sandpaper, working my way up to 400.
ApplyingVinylVisor04Trimming.jpg

InstallingAEMPulley02RemovingBelt.jpg
205 viewsUsing a 19mm socket and very long socket wrench, I pulled back the tensioner pulley with one hand and removed the belt with the other. If you look at the tensioner pulley, you'll find a bolt head that is actually part of the pulley mount. That's were you'll attach the socket to.

EMUForcingOpenLoop.jpg
186 viewsULTIMATE: You can use the NCVS map to activate a relay at the onset of boost. This relay will switch the ECU from seeing the normal TPS signal (VTA) to seeing the TPS signal's power supply (VC), which is the same voltage seen at WOT. This will make your ECU think it's in open loop mode. You can add a 0.1 mfd capacitor between the ECU and chassis ground if the transition isn't smooth.Oct 29, 2007
EMUECUWireLocationChart.jpg
199 viewsULTIMATE: This is the ECU wire location chart from the E-Manage Ultimate installation manual. They don't show the location of the idle air control solenoid, which is E7-18.Oct 26, 2007
EMUJumperChart.jpg
208 viewsULTIMATE: These are the jumper settings you'll need for the E-Manage Ultimate. This setup assumes that you are using the 3rd harness with all the new features, including being able to add and trim fuel. Note that JP13 & JP14 should be left open regardless of if you're monitoring the knock signal, water temp, or air temp.Oct 26, 2007
